This replaced an old system from another company. Running the new cables was easy as I used the old cables to run the new ones through the attic and wall. Even without the old cable, the system will be easy to install. The system takes a little time to set up, but once you get the hang of it, it's not bad. The phone app works very well. Easy to set up and get motion alerts when I'm not at home. The only problem I have is the fine tuning of motion sensitivity. If you set it too high, the slightest change in sunlight will cast shadows, which the system will pick up as movement. You will get many warnings from your application. Look too low and you will get nothing. So I'm still playing with it after a week or so. never mind Image quality is much better than the system it replaces, even the night vision system. This is the third camera system I have installed. Two are from another company and this one is from Reolink. I would recommend Reolink instead of the Night Owl system. The quality of the Android device and the app is much better than before.
