I have replaced several factory speakers in my life and they are by far one of the best sounding speakers. I have a 2011 Jetta and one of the front 6.5" doors. the speakers broke. I've replaced the ONLY torn one so far and it sounds great. I can't wait until I have time to replace another one. I don't use a crossover or tweeter so can't give a good opinion on that, but the 6.5 inch speaker sounds fantastic. My only complaint is that they don't give you connectors that snap onto speaker pins. **UPDATE** I installed another 6.5 speaker and decided to fit tweeters. I didn't use a crossover because my head unit has one built in. Wow. Sounds amazing. I want to buy another set for the rear doors.
