My mom used her Foodsaver so much that the tape frayed in places and didn't seal properly. Because she's a "um" older person from a generation who fixes things instead of throwing them away, she called Foodsaver to fix it. They said it couldn't be repaired. I found this tape and risked $10. to try for her. All I had to do was remove the old tape and any remaining tape. TURN IT OFF FIRST!. ;) Then I glued the wire and Tada!, your Foodsaver works like new! The roll contains enough to probably fix many Foodsavers. The band is slightly wider than the original band that I removed, but it fits well and doesn't change how the Foodsaver works.
