A budget truck won't switch to 4 cylinder operation anymore which annoyed me a lot, even though my truck is only a 6 cylinder I feel a loss of power. I haven't had any problems with my car for 2 weeks. In terms of fuel economy, I may have lost a gallon per mile, but for the longevity of my engine and transmission, it's worth it.
