I was concerned that it would be too small, poorly made, flimsy etc and was pleasantly surprised at the high quality. Best of all, my cat didn't get nervous when I put it on his head. It's very easy to turn on and off, but you can tighten it with a string. The cat is clearly not in heaven, but because she's beautiful and soft, she at least provides some sort of pillow for her head. He couldn't wash his butt where the injury was. Some wet food got on it but a damp cloth wiped it off even though I left it overnight. I was very impressed and would 100% recommend it to all cat lovers.
