I have bought several projectors and tried 2 others before but this was EXACTLY what I was looking for. It works when the light in the room is on. I installed this in my garage where I had 4 LED lights and a garage door light and you can still see the picture. It's better if you can turn off the lights just above the screen, but can be used if you can't. The picture is fantastic. I hooked it up to a surround sound system so I can't say if the sound is good. I've heard people talk about the fan being a bit noisy in bright mode, but I switched mine to Eco+ and not only did the fan go almost completely silent, the image just dimmed. I keep it in Eco+ mode because I don't see much difference in the picture and it's still very bright. Not 4K quality but I don't claim it, but it's really good 1080P. Images to be viewed in the dark with 4 magazine lights and then one to demonstrate the quality on a paused screen. There is no backlog in sporting events. All photos and videos in eco+
