I was having a bit of a puzzle as to how to get it into the easel position. between me and my husband we made it ;-) You have to loosen the screws on the hinges, put the easel in the right position and tighten it again. Sounds simple I know but it contains the parts I was trying to use. They are just separators. lol, very comfortable easel :-)
