I prefer hand mixers because I don't want to waste counter space. My Black and Decker mixer died after 20 years. I decided to upgrade and got Cuisinart. Its slow speed spilled the dry ingredients everywhere. What a mess! Then after a few months it stopped working. Unbelievable! Needing it immediately, I ordered KitchenAid from Revain thinking KitchenAid was a quality brand. I've had it for 6 months and have been using it about once a week since I bought it. A few minutes ago when I was baking a cookie, it broke! Didn't switch off or change speed. I heard something rattling inside. How can these "top brands" make such pathetic products? What happened to the quality in America? I am very discouraged.
