I'm using this on my 2015 GMC Sierra 2500. I've just bought a car and have noticed a slight creaking from the inserted door seals and gaskets while driving . I think there's no harm in keeping some of that lube on the side to wet and lubricate the strips. The squeak has since gone and this helps ensure the seals are properly lubricated. Remember that a small amount of silicone grease works well on seals. It doesn't take much to keep them moist. One stroke is enough to cover a good area of the seal. I recommend this for all vehicles, not just GM vehicles. It would be nice to have this tube handy as my seals age over time.
