I chose this case because it can be fully opened and lay flat to get through the scanners with a simple Velcro strap to secure the laptop to keep in place. However, other objects pushed through it compress it and cause the bag to fold back; cause potential damage to your laptop (TSA agents don't bother with your stuff so they just keep pushing it through). So you still have to take the laptop out, which defeats the main purpose I bought it for. you are in the middle You have to open the bag almost completely to attach/detach the strap. The front pocket can hold a lot of stuff but is not very well organized. The small mesh part below should be bigger; Business card holders only hold a few cards. A few large pockets with straps would be nice. The small pocket on the front is practically unusable from the outside; very little space to put much more than a few keys in it. Pros: It's a good size to fit under any airplane seat. It's lightweight but still seems durable (used 6 months and no signs of wear). You can put a lot of stuff in the laptop compartment if you have a thin laptop. I can put my laptop, power adapter, and a few small network devices (small router, switch, etc.) in my bag along with the PC. I just wish it had two straps instead of one.
