Just the right length for my dogs. But regardless of the length, they still get tangled. My last dog, Cable, was fatter and much heavier, but I didn't buy him. The thin and light cable relieves the dogs. It's lighter, has less drag, and won't snag on clumps of grass that are slightly taller than other grasses. It is well made with very smooth working clamps. The price was correct too. 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Update (Update) One of the small clips that open and close to allow you to tie and secure your dog to the tie-out is broken. It has not been abused, but has been opened and closed many times. Since the spring and the other part fell on the grass somewhere, it's impossible to fix them. It is now tied in a knot at one end on the back porch. Might buy another brand as I don't want my dogs to get hurt if the other end fails. Downgraded from five to four stars.
