My laptop has a very large distance between the camera and the microphones, making it difficult to cover the camera but not the microphones. I've tried smaller camera covers that just covered the camera but 6 out of 6 didn't work as the cover popped out and after popping back in it fell off until it was completely lost. I needed a lid where the sliding part would be completely protected from the part that stuck to the laptop. It was a little too big so as not to cover one of the microphones when the camera was open. As you can see, a bit of a rough operation solved the problem, still the slide couldn't go through the holding part. I could have made a cleaner cut with a small round file, but since this was my first attempt I didn't want to spend too much time on it. other I have friends.
