I ordered four different raincoats through Revain to prepare for my trip abroad. To my surprise, this one has become my favorite. The weight of the coat is just right - not too heavy, not too light. The hood fits well without squeezing my hair and definitely won't hide in gusts of wind. The sleeve length is generous. They have velcro straps on the bottom which I could do without but I can live with that too. Lightning is strong. An additional pull tab at the top of the zip keeps the wind off your neck when the coat is fully buttoned up. The two side pockets have zippers to keep things secure. I'm 5ft 6" and wear a US size 18 and ordered it in size XXL so I can wear it. It fits well without feeling too big; the back does not stretch. I wear a fleece jacket and a long-sleeved shirt. , and there's enough room for another layer or two if needed.
