Review on πŸͺ’ High-Quality Straight Edge Razor - RIVERLAKE JH23 Barber Shaving Razor - Shave Ready, Carbon Steel, Natural Marble Handles, Optimal Shave Experience by Lisa Ramirez

Very responsive support. Solid razor.

I am reviewing my review because I received a new blade after returning my purchase and getting my money back. The first blade had all sorts of problems and flaws that in most cases don't apply to the new blade. The new blade has a couple of washer-related issues that I understand its engineers are addressing as I write. I have posted pictures showing the problems. My workaround is to carefully close the blade. Now I have this single blade that was ready to shave. I wonder how other sellers can be so dishonest, especially when the reviews clearly show their lies, but this one really was it. In any case, before shaving, a razor needs to be made, which is what I did. The blade is absolutely exceptional. The razor's handle is quite heavy as it is mostly made of metal. This has created a new way of handling the razor while shaving. I'm not sure the handle needs to be that heavy, but it gives a razor-like feel, like holding a gun. Although the razor was sharp enough out of the box, I wanted to sharpen it to see if I could make it even sharper. After sharpening it myself, it's significantly sharper and smoother than any of my other blades (no, I don't have a Dovo yet). The carbon steel they use can certainly have an advantage. no rust or stains of any kind. Any rivets holding the marble-like resin to the metal scales appear very hard and flat. If you look at all other knife-handled straight razors, this one was less than half the price of the next similar blade.
