Just like when I was a kid, only this tank had a red base. My little monkeys never lived long when I was a boy, but these playful creatures are very wealthy. I remember you could put a flashlight under the cover which was cool but it was battery operated so it burned batteries. That was a few decades ago, before rechargeable batteries, and I'll have to see if there's still a disposable lighting option. A tip: be sure to aerate the water by pouring the contents of the tank back and forth from a sterile jar every few days to ensure your little monkeys are breathing in as much oxygen as possible for health reasons.
