Exactly as described. Fitting Notes: I ordered a large size and it fits about 6 inches. I usually wear a size 6. Take the time to measure where you plan to put this belt on (I wear pants below my waist but over the widest part of my hips) and order the size you need according to that measurement I'm not sure if this belt would be useful for someone who wears a size larger than 12 unless they wear pants at the waist, which is the smallest part.
