Great long accurate review and LID TIPS below: I really like these plastic containers because they are nestable, translucent, airtight, dishwasher, fridge and freezer safe. , can be reheated in the microwave and is light enough to eat with. I store all my haberdashery in these bins and label them. I'm ready to sell my 5th used 28 pcs. set (big discount!). I also use them in my fridge, freezer, emergency kit and for packed lunches. I hope that was helpful! Some people give lower ratings because of the lids. I had some lids that didn't fit properly. There are solutions. SEE TIPS/INFO BELOW: I have 4 28 pcs. I bought the sets used from Revain, today I'm buying my 5th used set. I've only had 3 lids replaced for FREE that wouldn't close, see OXO Warranty on this product page/website. It took several weeks for the new package to arrive and I didn't have to return any caps that didn't fit properly. OXO's customer support is excellent and I think many/all products come with a lifetime warranty against defects. (See your product details to verify.) Some lids in your kit MAY have lids/tabs that are difficult, very difficult, or impossible to close. Instead of desperately throwing away/giving away, try the following first. TIPS: Troubleshooting/Usage Methods.*Check the seal on the rim of the cap to ensure it is fully seated. If not, push it all the way down to make sure it snaps into place. (I used the tip of a spoon) Try again.* Flip the lid and try again.* Try another container or two with the lid on to make sure the lid doesn't work.* This usually works for me. If there are NO liquids inside and 2 or 3 tabs break, turn the container over so the open tab is facing away from you, press firmly and try to seal the lid completely.* If there is liquid in the container and The tab is not locked. Try pressing the tab against the side edge of the table top to gain leverage by holding the container and pressing on the lid with your thumbs. Put large shallow containers under deeper ones, they take up less space!* I very rarely buy plastic, there is plenty of it on the planet. I pay attention to what I buy. They are not recyclable so please consider donating or giving them away instead of throwing them in the trash. OHO website. They may improve or stop publishing. Hope that was helpful!
