Review on Sony 8T160VR VHS Cassettes 160 Minutes (8-Pack) - Discontinued Model for Extended Recording by Reza Cook

Old school but still works great

I've been using these particular VHS tapes for years. Unfortunately, the price of these has skyrocketed as they have largely been replaced by DVDs. However, I still use them to record TV shows and movies. They're pretty durable. I tend to overdraw a lot but within reasonable limits as the quality of the video can drop after a while. I have to be honest about that. However, they do their job. Right now I have a whole box of these, all used. I would estimate the number between 30-40 bands that are still working. I keep looking for this type, Sony 8 hours as they seem to be one of the highest quality VHS tapes you can find. and I can record up to 4 or more full movies on it depending on the length of the movies. I have no intention of getting rid of them. I think eventually I'll have no choice but to move with the times, but for now they still come in handy for me and the video quality is pretty good considering they're VHS tapes.
