I'm impressed with the number of brushes included in this set. They are soft but not like mink. They are complete and flexible. I use the fullest to even out my self tan but it can also be used as a foundation. The old fashioned brow brush works well for my eyebrows, the concealer brush evenly applies concealer and the butterfly brush is very handy for applying highlighter. I was looking for a small set but couldn't resist and ended up buying this one as I could get over 20 brushes for the price of 1 or 2 (if I had bought them at a makeup store). don't use them all - and to be honest I don't even know what many of them are for, but the ones I use are pretty good. Since they're cheap, I don't worry too much about taking good care of them. While the case it comes in is nice, I just took the one I use the most out of the case and tossed it in my makeup bag.
