Review on 🐠 Aqueon Clip-On LED Aquarium Light for Optimal Illumination by Katrina Scott

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great for the price

I have this light on a 12 inch cube tank and it is definitely bright enough to grow plants and light up fish. I mainly grow a carpet of s.repens along with some japonica, bryozoans and dwarf grass. All plants look good and grow fast. The light stays on the glass (rimless aquarium) with no problems and doesn't move at all. The touch controls are simple and effective. For growing live plants, I wouldn't recommend this light for a 10+ gallon tank without a second, although for fish and artificial plants only it probably lights the standard 20, not the 20 long ones.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Packaging is ugly
