This suit is adorably cute on my 9 year old. She's average build, and size 10 fit well. We recently had a family reunion and all my 5 kids went swimming multiple times, so their suits were mostly wet to damp for 3 days in a row. At the end of the trip, I threw them all in a plastic bag (wet) and took them home to wash the next morning. Of all the varied swimsuits, this one was the only one that showed signs of mildew.tiny little black dots all over the suit! Mildew shouldn't show up that quickly on a swimsuit.even with the prolonged wet conditions. So, while this is really cute, it must not be made of the proper mildew-resistant material swimsuits should be made of. Again, ALL of the other 6 suits, including my husband's and mine, showed no signs of mildew.only this one. And this one showed a lot. So, if you decide to buy, don't let this suit stay damp for a prolonged period of time at all. That said, if I knew to be careful about that, I'd buy again. The suit is THAT cute!Update: The seller very kindly sent another adorable swimsuit as a replacement for the problem one. I am revising my review up a star because the seller was so considerate and helpful.
