I've been hearing strangers talking into the mic since last Monday. I contacted Wyze and sent a log file and video. We were told to change the password. so we did it on Saturday after changing the password, I checked the microphone and heard Chinese? lady and a conversation with some strangers was recorded early Sunday morning. I can only upload 1 video so I'll post yesterday's one. I can't say what language that is. and nobody was around, and nobody around could speak that language. This is Wyze Support's response to the first incident from last week.: If you are concerned about security, the first thing you should do is change your account password to ensure you are the only one with access to the camera. If the camera is shared with any accounts, I would advise the shared account owner to reset their passwords as well. Next, let's talk a little bit about our security. Our cameras use an encrypted point-to-point connection, which means that when you try to connect to the camera (especially connection step 2/3), the camera and the app will do a handshake with our servers to confirm that both have the correct address encryption key. which is unique to the device. This means that currently the only options for accessing your live stream are to have credentials for an account with control over the camera (either the account it was set up for or a shared account) or an Alexa device that you have granted access to. to your live channels (this also requires account login information). Nevertheless we changed the password and it happened yesterday. I hope you can explain.
