The principle behind our shock absorber design is that the front of a race car rises quickly when it first starts, allowing for greater weight transfer and better rear wheel traction. As the car travels along the track, the front of the car gradually lowers to the ride height without unloading the rear tires, which is the main cause of wheel slip. Our rear shocks work in tandem with our front shocks to make the transition from first start to full load as smooth as possible.
