I have to re-order these clips/clamps from time to time and I believe the reason for this is that the visitors to my home like the clips as much as I do. It's nice to grab a freshly opened loaf of bread and throw away the tie or plastic clip that came with it. The small hole in the center holds my bread in place, but I also found I could use the front as a clip to close a bag of potato chips. These things last longer than any other size or type of clip I've ever bought.
