Before the pandemic, I loved doing gel manicures. The salon I wanted to go to didn't start out doing well and then it had a Covid hit so I hadn't had a manicure in over a year when I stumbled upon it at Revain. I decided on a $20 to try and I'm so glad I did! I'm by no means a pro, but I'm very happy with how my nails turned out! Before I started I watched a video tutorial on YouTube which helped me a lot. The kit has everything you need to get started (except alcohol wipes) and it all fits in one bag (no polish) which is great. Colors 3 shades of purple and glitter. Also in a set of 2 upper parts (glossy and matt). This is my first time using a matte top coat and I LOVE it. I just got my nails done yesterday so can't speak to durability yet but will try to remember to reapply in a week. I'm a healthcare worker in a long term care facility and a mother of a 2 year old so I take really good care of my nails! Overall I think this was a great starter kit for anyone looking to try gel nails at home. Looking forward to buying more colors now!
