I ordered this to tattoo my purebred angora rabbits. I used a tattoo pen which is a modified electric toothbrush. They work well enough but after years of use rabbits hate them and in the process I managed to tattoo my arm more than I would have liked. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to try a real tattoo machine and not a modified toothbrush. I suppose it's a little overkill for my purposes, but I like it a lot more. It works much better and is much easier to use. I initially trained on the supplied "skin" until I got used to it. Rabbits are not so restless with it and I can do it faster. Basically I am more than satisfied.
