Fun but not realistic

First time using a practice skin , you have to go really slow and turn your machine up. If you were to tattoo someone like this you would chew up the skin really bad. I guessing it’s fun to mess around with but conscious that you have to move your hand way faster when actually tattooing someone. Pigskin is better practice although washes don’t work on pigskin. This is cool for practicing shading I guess.Edit: I have to admit they’re pretty fun I have never tried the expensive practice skins…

Pros
  • Work really great and for the price cant be beat
Cons
  • The product doesn’t work

Stopped working after 3 weeks

I just started using this product about 3 weeks ago and it already stopped working. Nothing happened. Just stopped working.

Pros
  • Sealed package and prompt delivery
Cons
  • The double-sided design can cause confusion and difficulty in practicing specific areas of the skin

Not too bad: my feedback

Basically the fake skin is just thick rubber. It's a lot harder than skin to penetrate and get the ink in. Going from this fake skin to real skin isn't the same. Becuase this fake skin is so much harder to penetrate.

Pros
  • It was good paper
Cons
  • The synthetic material does not bleed like human skin, giving a false sense of precision

Love this skin! for my opinion

This is one of the better practice skins I’ve purchased. Thick, stretchable, ink is more true to color and easily implanted than latex or cheaper silicone. I don’t use the nylon straps so I wish they sold this without them, but I do love these!

Pros
  • Great quality for a great price
Cons
  • The silicone material can be difficult to tattoo on, making it an unrealistic representation of human skin

Awesome quality for the price

This stuff is pretty amazing for the price. Nice 3mm thickness. Holds the stencil well, holds the ink well, and cleans up easily while working and after. Had to turn up the stroke depth to hit harder so be careful with transition to human skin, but they are great for practice and much better than other cheap options I’ve experimented with.

Pros
  • Good to use to transfer
Cons
  • The practice skin may not hold ink well, making it challenging to assess line work and shading

Disappointed but not surprised

Cheap. Used it once. When I went to use it for my second time, it wouldn’t work. Replaced batteries with brand new ones, and still wouldn’t work.

Pros
  • These are great and for a reasonable price also
Cons
  • The silicone material does not provide the same resistance and texture as real skin, making it harder to practice different tattoo techniques

Big sheets and ink wipes off easily.

Fun product to practice new techniques on and just to all around make cool pieces on. Sheets are big enough to fit a couple of palm sized tattoos. Wipes off very easily and needles goes in without a problem! And there’s no stretching! 😁

Pros
  • great for practice
Cons
  • Broke after 3 uses. Garbage

Pretty decent compared to some

Much better than the 1mm thick fake skins. Nothing like real skin, but much better for a practicing beginner than thinner competitors.

Pros
  • The skin was very easy to work on.
Cons
  • Don’t buy it just stop working after using twice

Does the trick: my feedback

Product is functional, and does what it’s supposed to do. However I personally prefer a round lid over a squared lid. To prevent accidentally knocking it over I just cut the edges with scissors and stick it down to the surface with a little ointment.

Pros
  • Works great.
Cons
  • The product may not be ideal for practicing realistic color blending and shading techniques

Way better than what 1mm paper thin crap I was using. The ink whipped right off no problem, haven’t tried stencil work on it yet but freehand after figuring out what speeds and depth to work at, it’s good stuff from my opinion. And if you think about it, it’s way cheaper to buy these bigger sheets and cut them in half and use front/back, than it is to buy cheap small 1mm skins.

Pros
  • Good strong bags 👍
Cons
  • The non-biodegradable nature of the silicone material can have negative environmental impacts

Ok but small - my new review

Pretty good practice skin but you need alcohol or detol to get ink off area that are not tattooed. Also kinda small (half sheet of paper size)

Pros
  • Good product
Cons
  • The price is relatively high when compared to other tattoo practice skin options on the market

Works perfect - my new review

What can I say, the product works good and keeps the bottles protected. Helps prevent cross contamination. We like them and will order again.

Pros
  • She said best paper ive bought so far
Cons
  • The skin can easily tear or stretch, resulting in uneven and unrealistic tattoos

Love it, but. - my new review

In my opinion is a great item to practice, the quality doesn’t looks cheap at all for a reasonable price, the only thing that I dislike it is very hard to clean once you finish it to see the final work, but if you have clorox wipes it should do the work.

Pros
  • The best bags. Same as tat soouuulllll
Cons
  • It doesn’t work : (

DO NOT BUY THIS good for me

does not hold ink and is so thin its transparent. I would give this a 0 if I could because it was not worth the price in the SLIGHTEST.

Pros
  • Not too thick, but definitely thick enough for stick and pokes
Cons
  • Did what it was supposed to do. Worked well for tracing

Dont work ! good for me

Worst ever ! Didn't even make a dent in the carbon sheet!nothing came off onto working sheet!1 star because it made me give you one .

Pros
  • Like them use them for a fee things not just my bottles
Cons
  • The synthetic material may not be the same thickness as human skin, leading to unrealistic tattoo depth

Doesn't hold ink. - my new review

Pretty bad at taking ink, even the good quality stuff. Not even altering needle depth helps. Wouldn't recommend it. Work great.

Pros
  • Work great
Cons
  • The synthetic nature of the material may lead to allergic reactions or skin irritation from prolonged use

It only worked once

I tried to use again and it’s not working. The product may not be versatile enough to accommodate a wide range of tattooing styles and techniques!

Pros
  • Lo recomiendo
Cons

This is a great product for all beginners it’s perfectly thick so they can really focus on there line work That's my feedback!

Pros
  • Its made pretty cheap and only used it once before it stopped working, definitely not worth the price.
Cons
  • Good quality skin takes ink well, but turns colors to dudu. Perfect if you are only using black!

Quality product! - my new review

It was a gift for my husband who just started his love for tattoo’ing. He said it’s a quality product for both beginners and professionals.

Pros
  • Excellent
Cons
  • The surface can become slippery with ink, leading to difficultly in maintaining precise lines

Not for me.: my feedback

Wasn't very satisfied with these. Didn't feel right to me. Used one and never touched them again. Good for price I guess.

Pros
  • Great product and fast delivery.
Cons
  • Really bad , stencils will not stay on
