I am one to make my poor fur babies bleed when I trim their nails. So this clipper was a GREAT purchase with the safety guard on the back side to ensure i do not cut off too much at a time. It is of very good quality and I use it often on my 4 dogs (2 beagles, 2 boxer/pit mix). They show no sign of wearing down and I am completely satisfied and will be purchasing the same again for my son to use on his dogs as well. I have tried plenty of expensive clippers from petsmart, petco, etc to just toss them since I consider them dangerous. I even purchase the drimmel sanding style and it is collecting dust.
