Sound quality is okay and the noise canceling works a bit - I tested it walking around a construction site while someone was drilling into concrete. The bass works well, it's not overwhelming but you can still feel it. When I use the microphone during a conversation, I come across as intermittent to the interlocutor. But otherwise surprisingly good for the price. The cable and the headphones are separate parts, and you need to connect them together manually according to the instructions. I've managed to figure mine out, but it might take a little while for someone else. They sit in my ears much better than regular earbuds, so that's a good thing since the wire goes up and then behind the ear.
