The promise of this tool is great and for most it lives up to its expectation but when I have a 16" and 60" 2x4 Frame built, getting them together in this clamp is a little tricky. This is because the base of the clip is a bit high, so the mass tends to tilt up a bit, interrupting your quest for a perfect 90 degree connection. Clip over the joists (if you have a straight work base to work with) and that mostly helps, but the double hinge makes it a little tricky to attach over the top. I still love it, wouldn't return it for $20-30, but it's not as easy to use as I thought it would be.
