I live in Vermont and endure many cold days. The jacket is quite suitable for this climate. The only area that is cold are the pockets. One windy, cold days, if I'm not wearing gloves, my hands will get somewhat cold in the pockets. Other than that, the jacket is amazing. I don't care about compliments, but I have received several while wearing the coat. Well worth the money.
