I was remodeling my kitchen and wanted under cabinet lighting, but I didn't want to take the walls apart to get a switch and I didn't want a lot of individual switches on the walls. I have a well-lit kitchen, so I didn't expect to use it that much. I line them up to continue the wave and stay until I wave again. I've had them for a few weeks. I believe the brightest light I get is about 6-8 hours before I need to charge them. Charging takes about 6 hours. I bought three 24" lights to cover a 102" rack and they put out the perfect amount of light. I also bought four 18" units for other locations. I love these lamps and can only recommend them. They are very easy to fold. You jump onto the metal strip.
