So I bought it to use with my PSP Go. It's great for transferring files to and from your Go and charging your Go in USB mode. If you want to charge your Go when it's not powered or in USB mode, you'll need a suitable charger. like a real Sony PSP Go power bank, or I used a PowerGen AC travel charger with two 2.4A USB ports (NOTE: only works with a port designed for Apple devices). However, you should be aware that with this USB cable, the Go will not play any sound while connected. So even if you can charge while playing with one of the power adapters mentioned above, you won't hear anything with headphones either. It looks like the cable is making the system think you have it in your PSP Go dock, so it turns off its normal audio output. So functional, but with one important caveat.
