I looked at these a long time before purchasing, read a lot of reviews, and hoped I would love them.based on the different reviews, I ordered a large b/c I didn't want them to be tight and I didn't know how stretchy they would be (I usually wear a 6). I could have gone with a medium and they would have fit. These are slightly too long (I'm 5'4") and big enough that they wear like a 'boyfriend fit'.These jeans have just enough stretch, and are some of the most comfortable jeans I own. HOWEVER, they don't really look like the preview you order from. The material is good quality, but the color is not close. the little inserts in the distressed areas are some kind of stretchy fabric, but you only know it's not cotton by touching it. Overall, these jeans are well made.
