I initially bought this and the analog UGreen. I have a backlit keyboard, LED mouse and backlit numeric keypad that I was hoping to use this for. Even with a powerful external power supply connected, the keyboard didn't even light up. Ugreen couldn't fully match my peripheral's power consumption, but the LEDs lit up at least partially, not at full brightness. Ugreen also had a smaller footprint than this and cost less. The ONLY reason you should use this button instead of Ugreen is if you plan on using this button with a 70" cable and have that actual junction box tucked away somewhere AND you know everything you plug into it , consumes little power.
