The first one I ordered was broken and didn't jam. Sent it back and ordered a new one and this one works great. It's small. You don't want to overload it or you'll pull out all the qtips if you're trying to get just one. It is divided into 4 sections - I put regular cotton swabs in 2 sections and then my pointed makeup cotton swabs in the other 2 sections. works for me You remove the top round cap, fill it up, put the round cap back on and press down. It stays closed until you press it lightly, then the spring opens it. Cozy. It's made of soft white plastic, except for the transparent part at the top where you can see the Qtips.
