When my Asus' original charger broke I needed a new one. After reading the reviews I decided to go for it. I think I made the right choice as this one is better than the one that came with my computer. The cable is very thick and durable, which means it will not fray. When you're dealing with electricity, it's always worth paying a premium to get something reliable. I also like that this charger has a ground connection and a very bright light on the charging box to show it's connected. I also like that the connector that plugs into your computer is angled so the cable hangs straight down when your laptop is on a flat surface. This reduces the gravitational stress that would normally cause the wire to bend and wear inside as it heats and cools over time (metal fatigue). I liked this brand so much I bought it for my mom's computer when her charger died. My mom isn't tech savvy so I wanted to make sure she was buying something good quality and safe as there are many cheap third party companies that make dangerous chargers and batteries. Overall I would say I recommend it and it's worth the money.
