Purchased this rack on May 28 so we could take grand children biking. So far we used all four bikes on two occasions, and either a single or two bikes about five times for local park access. This week we had two bikes on the rack and traveled some distance with the rack on the back of our camper. Somewhere on the freeway the base of the rack snapped clean and we lost the bikes. No trace when we went back to look but they hit the ground at 65 mph. The break indicates a cheap, inferior metal used for the rack and would not be suitable to use for such purpose. Now I will do what I can to recover from manufacturer as Best Buy reports the product is only sold through this site. I just lost two really good bicycles, a cheap rack, and significant anxiety that we could have caused major injury to others when the product failed on the freeway. Make you own judgment but stay safe all.
