The sound quality is pretty good for the price and was a bit uncomfortable at first but I got used to it. Unfortunately, I will never use them except as backup headphones for my desktop computer. Why? Whenever I pause audio playback on my phone (Pixel 2), the connection drops after about 15 seconds. I'm guessing this is some sort of battery saver feature, but in practice it means that if I need to pause a podcast or song to read an email, talk to someone at the gym, or see an ad on the subway to hear the train, then I have to plug in the headphones again. At first I thought it was a bad Android tweak, but it does the exact same thing to my best friend's iPhone. It does something even weirder when connected to a computer - when no sound is playing, it plays a beep every 30-60 seconds and then says "Bluetooth connected", which gets annoying very quickly, especially when you're listening to the music/the Stop podcast. /etc because you need something to focus on. Normally I would send them back within the first 12 hours but I tore the package up when I opened it. It didn't even occur to me that I should be careful - these headphones are the first Sony products I've owned that I wanted to return.
