I like the feel of the color and design, but I am very disappointed with the volume. My child accidentally pulled this alarm several times in the store and apart from ONE ISLE OVER you can't hear it, it also sounds like a little child's toy. This is not a call for help. Not loud enough to draw attention to real danger, except maybe in the middle of the night or in the library. IMHO. Also just to make sure other members of my family hear it, to make sure I'm not just a defender. No I'm not fortunately lol they agreed. My son turned on the alarm to test while I was at our mailbox about 20 feet from my apartment and it sounded like a neighbor's morning alarm. Very powerless, you really had to listen to him. Note to company: The best placement of the light would be at the bottom so that you can cover the flash with your hand when lifting and unplugging in an emergency.
