I've been looking for a large round brush with long bristles for a long time after my stylist used an amazing one but totally not my type. price range. It was incredibly cheap, so I took a chance. It works. I have long (well above mid-back) very thick wavy hair that takes forever to blow dry. Long before I discovered this comb, I preferred to air dry my hair. But it really helps to dry gently and give the hair a slight curl and elasticity. The gel pen is ok, it's definitely comfortable, but if you're not careful, as other reviewers have said, your hair can get caught on it or in the seam between the pen and the brush. Ouch. Not bad for the price.
