Have been using these brushes for years! I love originals from the bottom of my soul and I was furious when my local stores ran out of stock. I needed an inexpensive large-diameter round brush to meet these requirements. However, the barrel is quite short - some hairs roll onto the grip instead of the barrel and get caught in a stupid gap between the barrel and the grip, which is also a bit short. Whoever designed the brush must never have used it on their own hair! Expensive brushes usually have a longer body, a longer handle, and no gap between the body and the handle. Mine came in pink which is funny. It does what it's supposed to do. I'm not sure if I'm fat gel pens. When blow-drying, I notice that the gel stick grips loose hair better and tugs at the handle or dangles. I won't let this affect my star rating because I love Conair. I have a pair of curling irons and I swear Conair is the one if not the only brand I can still rely on that gets really hot and hot!

Overall the brush works well. But there is a part where the handle meets the brush head and my hair gets caught there in a small gap - a few strands of hair get caught around the handle and get caught and eventually come out. I had several of these brushes and they all did the same thing.
