I'm a cat person, which means I live with cats and belong to cats. We have two cats and two trays. This throw mat does the best job I've ever had of preventing litter from being strewn and tracked around the house. I have had the first rug of this type for a few years now and it is still in perfect condition. I just take it outside and shake it from time to time. When my husband found a kitten on the street (cat #2) I was happy to find it at Revain's so I could put one under the #2 tray. If you want to improve them, you can make them about two inches wider. They work very well.
