According to customer J on November 16, 2020 to install: I pulled the buckles out so they dangled on one side of the chair's armrest and left the loose end of the velcro dangled on the other side. I pulled the open end of the velcro under the chair's armrest through the slot in the buckle, tightened the buckle, and pinched the velcro. ----- While it seems convenient. It will take me some time to get used to the hand position change. My keyboard is on the keyboard tray that also contained my mouse. This causes some problems when I roll over in my chair as I almost knock the keyboard off the shelf with the new mouse rest. The great thing is that the armrest of my chair can be adjusted up and down so that the keyboard tray comes with it. to my existing keyboard tray as it is the extra support I need for my arm between the chair and the keyboard tray. Straight out of the box and plugged in (after some decoding) it looks great. I didn't give 5 stars because nothing is perfect. Rschunimagu
