I am new to the automotive industry and was able to install this wireless backup system without much difficulty. Every car installation is probably a little different, but for my Mazda 6 I used license plate screws to attach the camera to the back (double sided tape was not used). The only tricky part was drilling a small hole behind the license plate to feed the wires through to power the camera. Then the cables just had to be routed along/in the tailgate to connect the reversing lights. The red clips for attaching the red and black wires worked very well and made the job easier. Once that was done I just plugged the monitor into the cigarette lighter and when you put it in reverse the camera turns on!
