If you are careful this could be the ring for you.

Maybe it's because I read all the reviews but overall I was more careful with this ring than the thicker one I bought at the same time. So far it has served me for over 5 months with no problems. While I don't expect my experience to be identical to others, I actually transferred it to three different devices without changing the adhesive. And it's still holding up well. I'm also not so gentle with it that it's annoying or impractical. I don't rock my phone on the ring like I could if I were a teenager. But I kept it strictly ringside from time to time. It's just not my style to keep it as the default. That just calls for trouble, IMO. Especially since I didn't apply new glue. If I had known that, I might have thought about being a little more casual with him. It is currently on the back of the gel case. Previously it was attached directly to my Sony phone (flat aluminum surface). I gently tore it off, just pressing it firmly against the new surface. I expected to use the included glue circles (or came up with another one, not sure which one). But I still have to do it. To be honest I almost had no intention of using this ring at all. I bought it at the same time as one of the thicker rings. And after reading so many negative reviews I used a thicker ring. And this sticker ring worked great. I may have already written a review about it. But then I decided to put this flat ring directly on the phone when I took it out of the case. And since the scabbard was flexible and the ring thin enough, I was able to slip a scabbard over it if needed (because the back of the scabbard I used was a bit flexible). In one case he even had his own ring. I placed this ring just below where the ring should be on the case. And when I had to put it in the phone holder in the car I had to remove the case but that ring didn't bother because it was so thin. If you NEED a very thin ring this might work for you if you are careful. Some people can afford new phones without batting an eyelid. I'm not one of those people. That's why I'm generally very careful with my devices.
