Defective product distributor
The Nissan 2.4 liter engine had severe misfires after installation. In fact, the distributor relayed the pulse signal and the engine stalled for a split second. Also, the distributor had scratches on the inside when first unpacked. Replacing the manifold with a new one from a local parts store fixes the problem.
