I have found that since my wife died in January last year and being the sole occupant of the house, I usually use my cups and glasses for drinks long before I have enough dishes to Fill have dishwasher. Now I can load the washing machine evenly and use the coasters to enjoy a large amount of drink per cup. The cost is not that extravagant and there is no smell or strange taste from these mugs. My younger family guests love to spell their names on mugs with magic markers and leave them on the kitchen counter to be refilled from the chilled, filtered faucet in the fridge door while they break away from the constant creation of the daily clutter, too to whom it belongs every visit.
