Disappointing at best. I would have expected more from Sylvania. The device is cheaply made. Although thin plastic is used to save weight, the device feels cheap. One of my main complaints is the lack of volume - it's barely enough and can cause problems for anyone with a mild hearing loss. In combination with that there is something that drives me crazy. You can set the device to save the playback position on the disc when the device is turned off. That works great. When switched on, the device continues where it left off. However, this does not apply to the volume. By default it's set to level 15 every time - why not just remember the volume last used? Some of the settings are nice, but the built-in digital clock is NOT one of them. The carrying case is thin, has no padding and offers absolutely no protection. It comes with earbuds (doesn't solve the low volume problem), power adapter, batteries, strap, cigarette lighter adapter and remote control. Don't lose the remote - it has options that aren't on the device. It may be suitable as a children's toy, but I expect better quality from Sylvania products, more features (at least one clock) and good volume, which this model lacks. I wish I could be more positive about this product but honestly it's lacking and disappointing.
