Wow, I finally found a backpack HERE. I was initially put off by the price, which is well above most other products in this class. But it was worth it. I wish I could give six stars instead of five. I love the "messenger bag" concept and have owned quite a few. Small bag with pockets for organization and easy carrying in hand. The problem has always been that messenger bags usually don't have a convenient way to carry them on your back. Either one shoulder or the other ultimately bears the brunt. This backpack is just fantastic. It really works as a "shoulder bag" or a backpack, which is what I was looking for. Some items are in no particular order. * Very comfortable to wear as a backpack on the back. It fits well and can be worn in this position for a while without being carried over the shoulders or being uncomfortable. The effect is that it does not become uncomfortable even under heavy loads. * The straps are very easy and quick to adjust. Thus, he can instantly move from the "on his back” position to the "on the shoulder” position. You can quickly (less than 2 seconds) pull out one of the shoulder straps, twist it to your liking and then tighten it.* The shape is just perfect. It's flared slightly at the top, which I don't think would matter. The effect is that it is easy to carry and fits in one hand. Also, it works well both mostly empty and packed.* The above shape makes it very easy to get things out quickly while cruising around the airport or on the road.* I think the pockets are spot on. Some reviewers complained about the lack of a side pocket. For me it would spoil the clean lines and unique shape. The pocket clasps are great too. Top zips for added security. The back pocket has a zipper. The valve has both buttons and straps. The overall effect is that you can choose how secure you want things to be, rather than making things easier to access. I like it. When you're in a hurry, you can put things down and simply close the flap with the buttons. If you need more security, zipper + buttons + straps. * The construction and material are excellent in my opinion. I usually prefer leather, but waxed canvas works great. It has enough rigidity to hold its shape well. It repels liquid. And it looks fantastic. * Interior pockets are great for carrying your computer/tablet, keys, phone, etc. Bottom line. it became my "move" in the backpack. The ones I take with me every day. It was absolutely worth the price. I just wish I had found it sooner and saved money for other bags that never made it.
